Several of our band students tried out for District and All State Band Friday and Saturday. They competed with students from Limestone, Morgan, and Madison Counties. We had 8 students selected to perform with the District Honor Band and 5 of those were also selected to perform with the All-State Band.

Students making the District Honor Band were:

Griffin Holt 1st chair

Jacob Russell 2nd chair

Taya Appleton 7th chair

Della Smithson 4th chair

Cameron Gooch 4th chair

Grayson Ball 5th chair

The 3 All-State Bands are Red, White, and Blue with Red being the top band. Students making the All-State Bands were:

Jacob Russell – Red

Taya Appleton – White

Della Smithson - White

 

 

LCHB 2017 RESULTS


27 Students tried out for Limestone County Honor Band.  26 were selected.  Of those selected, 15 made the Wind Ensemble and 5 made 1st Chair.
