Please be advised that information for COVID and quarantining is changing as new information is provided. We will try our best to keep you updated as soon as the information changes. Below is the most up-to-date information:
- If the school is contacted about a positive case, everyone in the classroom (each class period of that child) will be notified by letter. The letter will be sent home with the child. A copy of the letter is attached below.
- If you decide to quarantine your child for 10 days (starting from the date the letter was issued), you MUST contact the school to let us know for the absences to be excused. If you choose the quarantine your child, the child must stay out the full 10 days. If your child starts having symptoms or tests positive within those 10 days, please notify the school and the child's 10 day quarantine will start over.
- Quarantined students are still REQUIRED to complete their coursework on time (unless otherwise stated by teacher...an example might be an assessment). Teachers will post information, materials, and assignments on Schoology (our new learning management system). Below you will find information about Schoology.
